You are receiving this email because we have recently updated information on the Immigration SA website.

Changes relate to the announcement of the State Sponsored Migration List (SSML) for the 2011-2012 year.

The new State Sponsored Migration List (SSML) for the 2011-2012 Program Year is available online and the following information has been updated:

  • 28 occupations have been added to the SSML Some occupations have been moved from the SSML to the ‘off-list’, meaning these occupations are no longer identified as being in significant shortage
  • Some International English Language Testing System (IELTS) requirements have changed – check your occupation’s requirements If no IELTS requirement is listed for your occupation then you need to meet the IELTS requirement for both DIAC and the assessing authority (i.e. the authority which completes your Skills Assessment).

Recent changes also mean some ‘off-list’ criteria and ‘special conditions’ have also changed:

If you are recent international graduate who studied in South Australia, please check the off-list criteria carefully If you are a recent international graduate who studied in South Australia, please check the “special conditions apply” criteria.
